Almost four years ago, my wife and I began our search for our “dream” cottage. We had a limited budget, so this was no easy task! We viewed several properties, but the agents either didn’t call us back, or didn’t answer our texts, so we were getting frustrated. Just by chance, we saw a cottage in a real estate paper, and when we called, the listing agent was Stew! He told us that the property was sold conditionally, but we were welcome to come and see it. My wife went to view the cottage, and was really impressed with Stew. In the following weeks, he sent us many listings and would always respond to our messages in a timely manner. Stew listened to our “wish list” and probably thought it was unrealistic considering our budget, but he didn’t say anything. Over the next six months or so, Stew showed us many properties. He was very patient and a good listener. He would give his opinion when asked, but did not try to influence us in our decision making. Eventually, he found us our diamond in the rough. There were multiple offers on the table and we were quite nervous, but he walked us through every step. Our offer was accepted!
We are planning to use Stew again this year, as we are downsizing, and looking forward to retirement. We would definitely recommend Stew to anyone thinking of buying or selling a property.
